Only ToolBook 9.0 (and higher) can run on a Windows 10 (64 bit) computer. The only way to get an older ToolBook file (.TBK) to open on a Windows 10 computer is to install ToolBook 9 or higher, and use the VERSION UPDATER utility (ships free with ToolBook) to convert your older .TBK files to the new format.

The software is compatible with the following versions of Windows: Windows XP Professional SP2 (or later), Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. It means the software doesn't require special instructions to install it on the mentioned operating system.

Toolbook is not available as a free product. In fact, you can only request a demo via the homepage of the developer. Toolbook 9.5 is a deprecated version because the company released a new version to meet the standards of the market in 2013.

The application is working just fine. If you have trouble installing it, go to the official website and download the newly updated version. The version released is 11.5 and it fixed a lot of bugs. The product is not free and it requires an activation/active subscription to work properly.
